Lodges in Tanzania
These are the equivalents of the western deluxe hotels. Lodge chains such as the Serena and Sopa and a few other privately owned lodges and camps keep a very high standard of service. Simpler lodges we use, such as the Serena Safari lodges, Hotels & Lodge, Sopa Lodges and Tanganyika Wilderness Camp properties are of a good standard and also very comfortable.
Lodges and camps of this standard are situated in almost all parks and reserves and facilitate most safari itineraries. The vehicles used are safari land cruisers and land rovers with viewing roof hatches.

3 DAYS NGORONGORO
Day 1. Ngorongoro Crater
Pick up from the hotel in Arusha and transfer to Ngorongoro, en-route game viewing, half a day game drive on the crater rim. Late afternoon drive to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for a full-day crater tour, explore the crater which is famous for its great concentration of wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Ngorongoro – Arusha
After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving by lunchtime.

Day 1. Ngorongoro Crater
Leave Arusha in the morning and proceed to Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2. Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast leave with picnic lunch for Lake Manyara. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3. Arusha
Early morning game drive, breakfast and return to Arusha arriving for lunch.

4 DAYS LAKE MANYARA/ NGORONGORO/ TARANGIRE
Day 1. Lake Manyara.
Depart Arusha in the morning for Lake Manyara, arriving there by lunch time. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2. Ngorongoro crater.
After early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro crater, en route game viewing, half a day game drive on the crater rim. Late afternoon drive to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast drive to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive, meals and overnight at lodge.
Day 4. Arusha.
After breakfast enjoy a morning game viewing drive in the Tarangire National Park. Return to lodge for lunch and in the afternoon depart for Arusha.

Day 1. Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 2. Ngorongoro.
After morning game drive in Lake Manyara, proceed to one of the natural wonders of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3. Ngorongoro Crater.
After early breakfast a 4wheel drive vehicle will take you 2000ft down the crater, tracking animals. Picnic lunch at the crater before ascending back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast drive to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive, meals and overnight at lodge.
Day 5. Tarangire-Arusha.
After breakfast proceed for a morning game viewing drive, return to lodge for lunch. Afternoon drive to Arusha.
